Important Shipping Update – New Import Rules Effective August 29, 2025
August 29, 2025, new import regulations have come into effect for shipments entering the United States, specifically after the removal of the de minimis exemption for goods valued under $800. These changes include the implementation of tariffs on certain imported goods and additional customs processing requirements.
What This Means for Our Customers
- Tariffs Applied: U.S. Customs shall impose tariffs and duties on your orders depending on the product category, country of origin and value.
- Price adjustment: Tariffs and related collection costs are paid to international postal carriers, who are required to pay the tariffs to the U.S. Customs & Border Protection. This will have slight change in your total order value.
- Shipping Delays: Due to these regulatory changes, shipments may take longer than usual to clear customs. This could result in delivery delays beyond our normal timelines.
- Order Processing: While we continue to dispatch orders promptly, the customs clearance process is now more complex, and delays may occur once shipments reach the U.S. border.
