Exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB): EIB is the narrowing of the airways during or soon after exercise.
Ventolin HFA inhaler helps relieve bronchospasm by quickly opening the airways to ease breathing during an asthma attack. It acts within minutes, and its effect lasts 4 to 6 hours. Always keep the inhaler with you for quick relief during an asthma flare-up.
Side Effects of Ventolin HFA Inhaler
Patients using Ventolin HFA inhaler may experience some common side effects, including:

Call your doctor right away if you experience serious side effects after using a Ventolin HFA inhaler, including:

How to use Ventolin HFA Inhaler?
Ventolin HFA inhaler is for oral inhalation only. Use the inhaler exactly as instructed by your doctor based on your age and medical condition.
The recommended dosage of the inhaler for acute episodes of bronchospasm is 2 inhalations repeated every 4 to 6 hours in adults and children. However, one inhalation every 4 hours may be sufficient for some patients.
The recommended dosage of inhaler for exercise-induced bronchospasm is 2 inhalations 15 to 30 minutes before exercise.
Follow all the instructions for the correct use of the inhaler. Always prime the inhaler if you are using it for the first time, if you have not used it for more than 14 days or if you have dropped it. Shake the inhaler well before each use and properly clean it once a week. Do not increase the dose of Ventolin HFA inhaler without consulting your doctor.
